Peter Beckett
Founder
Peter Beckett is a Brussels-based public affairs adviser and founder of Three Six One. He helps businesses navigate EU policymaking and investors understand political and regulatory risk.
He began his career at the European Parliament before working in the BBC’s Brussels bureau. He subsequently led EU public affairs for Bolt, JUUL and the Electronic Cigarette Industry Trade Association, working on regulation affecting transport, technology and consumer products. His experience spans the EU institutions and national capitals.
Peter also writes ClearanceWire, covering the politics behind EU merger control, competition policy and the Foreign Subsidies Regulation. Through the publication and tailored research, he helps investment professionals understand how decisions in Brussels can affect transactions.
